I am always impressed with the individual who owns their mistake, apologizes and fixes the problem. In my experience every organization and everyone makes mistakes. She apologized stating that she had checked the bed by turning down the top of the bed but had not checked toward the bottom of the bed and said that she would do so in the future. We called front desk and the housekeeping supervisor on that evening Rafiela came immediately and personally changed our linens. When we arrived in the room and turned down the bed we discovered a hair in the bed and on further inspection noticed some dirt at the bottom of the bed sheet. We arranged a corner room overlooking Peachtree which was adequate with a very nice shower. Much has been said about the room being smaller. Our reception was prompt and courteous and check in was a breeze and we were on the way to our room in a matter of minutes. The location is very close to Georgia Tech and to his new apartment near Piedmont Park. The Indigo is centrally located on Peachtree Street in the heart of midtown across from the Fox theatre. He had stayed there previously and recommended. My wife and I spent last weekend at the Indigo while we were helping our son move to Atlanta for graduate school. Plus, it was the best deal I found among the hotels immediately near Georgia Tech. It provided me the stress relief I needed during "move in" day at Georgia Tech. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is coming to Atlanta if you want to really enjoy the hotel where you are staying. ![]() Other hotels I have stayed at were not so well situated in midtown, but the Hotel Indigo is perfect. The hotel is also situated right on Peachtree which made it easy for me to walk to different restaurants, CVS, a museum, etc. ![]() My room was very clean, each bed had four pillows (love it) and it was so quiet. That is what the service was like here, they really wanted you to be completely happy and comfortable. His excellent attention to every guest made the atmosphere of the restaurant very calm and enjoyable. I had a lovely full breakfast every morning in the restaurant (which was free, part of my room charge) and Jermaine who managed the restaurant knew my order by the second day and it was like dining in my own private home. Everyone is very personable and sincerely want your stay to be the very best. First, the service here is extraordinary, in the restaurant, the front desk and everywhere in the hotel. I am a Georgia Tech mom and Hotel Indigo has been the best hotel for me in the four years I have traveled from Dallas to stay several days at a time in Atlanta. ![]()
